Symbodigy 2004

I drew this symbol when I moved to NYC in 2003 before putting it into this exhibit.
This was a hairpin design I came up with in undergrad, probably for my jewelry class in 2000. Also repurposed for Symbodigy.
The background in this image is a pattern created from the symbol in foreground. I did this with each of the symbols used in Symbodigy. In all, I made thirteen original symbols and their corresponding patterns.
